Horsepower is a unit of measure for power, which can be divided into British horsepower (hp) and metric horsepower (ps). Metric horsepower is slightly smaller than British horsepower:
1 metric horsepower (ps) = 0.9863 British horsepower (hp).
The horsepower we often talk about in our lives is generally metric horsepower (ps). Power can also be expressed in kilowatts (kw).
Horsepower, watts or kilowatts are all units for expressing engine power.
1 horsepower = 735 watts = 0.735 kilowatts, metric
1 metric horsepower (horsepower) = 0.73549875 kilowatts
1 kilowatt = 1.3596216173039 metric horsepower (horsepower)
The abbreviation of horsepower is horsepower (imperial horsepower), but there is also a concept of metric horsepower, which is the horsepower symbol we often see on European cars: PS
1Hp=745.7W=33,000 feet * pounds / minute
1Hp (imperial horsepower) = 0.746 kilowatts (KW)
1Ps (metric horsepower) = 0.735 kilowatts (KW)
